10Rice w/mushrooms and spinach

My sister hates mushrooms and spinach. I love them! I think they are really tasty and make a meal better. So I try different ways to mix them in with meals. This recipe uses them both with some rice and that is good way to put them in to use. Well thankfully diet pills isn't part of her vocabulary.
INGREDIENTS
Mushrooms, fresh, 1 cup, pieces or slices
Garlic, 2 cloves
Spinach, frozen, 0.5 cup
Pepper, black, .5 tsp
Chicken Broth or Bouillon, 2 cup (8 fl oz)
Water, tap, 1 cup (8 fl oz)
White Rice, long grain, 1 cup
DIRECTIONS
Chop mushrooms. Combine all ingredients in a large saucepan. Bring to a boil then cover and reduce heat to a simmer. Cook for about 40 minutes or until liquid is absorbed and rice in tender.
Makes about 8 serving (1/2-cup each)
