Yes I ordered this item but never received it. My order was processed, funds withdrawn from my account and then I received notification that it was shipped via UPS and it should arrive at my home within 3-5 days. Then 4 days later I received notification that the order has been canceled. I went back and forth with the company attempting to figure out if my purchase was already sent out or if the order had in fact been canceled. The explanation that I received stated that although I was notified that the item was shipped via UPS and should be arriving at my home within 3-5 days the company actually never had the product in stock! The company attempted to locate the item from another company before recalling my UPS delivery notice. There was also a delay in refunding my money to my account. So not only was my order fouled up but they held on to my money.
I was completely unimpressed with the process of purchasing this item. Why a company would inform their customers that their order was shipped when in fact they actually don’t have the item in stock is just bad business. According to the company that’s their standard operating procedure! Well they must receive a lot of complaints and for that matter I’m surprised that they are still in business at all. Certainly hurt my Amazon experience and I will shop elsewhere rather than go through this again.

My mother was so happy to receive this product. She thought she would never see this type a grinder again. Her original one she had over 30 years had lost a piece. She is sooo happy now!

I read other reviews, & when I received my grinder I took a small round file and cleaned the machine burrs off of the holes before to using. The grinder worked good, made some ham spread, and ground some corned beef for hash, but the ground beef came out too fine. Would have been nice to receive some recipes with it.

This is the worst, poorly machined piece of junk, – parts do not quite fit, and it can’t grind even ground meat. Also, it rusts. I bought it just to combine ground pork with ground beef and bread soaked in milk. It failed to do that. It does not come with the pestle that you use to push the meat down. The screw that holds it to the table lost tread on the second use.

We make patatis skarv (potato baloney) every Christmas season. The Porkerts I bought were gifts to our sons, so they can keep the family tradition going. The grinders work well for making our tasty Swedish sausage.
