A Yummy Snack

For the past couple of mornings and before then there is something that I like to eat. It is really delicious and a snap to make. No cooking, no mess! All you need is fruit and yogurt. It is easy..just take any fruit you want and put it in a bowl. Then take a single serve yogurt of any flavor and put that in the same bowl. Stir. Eat. Enjoy! It's like a parfait without the granola.

My sister is pregnant and it is something that everyone is looking forward to. It is the first new baby coming into our immediate family since my little brother eight years ago. So, when a baby is born what is it that they need? Clothes of course and I know just where she can get really cute and modern clothes for her new son! She can get them at Tiny Tiny Clothing and Tie Dye Baby Clothes. They have such adorable baby clothes that I hope their website is still around for when I actually have a child of my own. Check out their baby clothes, they're super cute.

Pizza is one of those things that you love to have but it holds a lot of trouble for your diet! I love having a nice piece of pizza with some soda but I can definitely tell when I have it! Anyway, here is a good recipe from Eat Better America for a more healthy homemade pizza.

INGREDIENTS

Crust

1 1/3	cups all-purpose flour
1	teaspoon baking powder
1/2	teaspoon salt
1/2	cup fat-free (skim) milk
2	tablespoons olive oil

Topping

1 1/2	cups shredded reduced-fat mozzarella cheese (6 oz)
1	can (14.5 oz) Muir Glen® organic diced tomatoes, drained
1	cup fresh baby spinach leaves, coarsely chopped
1	cup yellow or green bell pepper strips
1/4	teaspoon dried oregano leaves
1/4	teaspoon garlic powder
1/8	teaspoon pepper
2	tablespoons freshly shredded Parmesan cheese

DIRECTIONS

1. Heat oven to 400°F. In medium bowl, mix flour, baking powder and salt. Stir in milk and oil until soft dough forms. (If dough is dry, stir in 1 to 2 tablespoons additional milk.) On lightly-floured surface, knead dough 10 times. Shape dough into ball. Cover with bowl; let stand 10 minutes.

2. Place dough on ungreased cookie sheet; flatten slightly. Roll out to 12-inch round. Bake 8 minutes.

3. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over crust; top with remaining topping ingredients. Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until crust is light golden brown and cheese begins to brown. Cut into wedges to serve.
Give this salad a try next time you want to switch things up a bit.
Greek Tuna Pasta Salad

Hmm, so this is interesting. I don't believe I have ever had a tuna pasta salad. In fact, the only salad that I have ever had tuna in is well..tuna salad. You know the kind that you make and place in some bread? Yea, that's it. I'm sheltered I suppose. This sounds interesting though.

INGREDIENTS

3.5 oz. (1 packet) tuna in water
1 oz cooked rotini pasta
1 cup canned beans, red kidney or garbanzo
3 artichoke hearts (from a can), quartered
1 oz reduced fat feta cheese
1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
1 oz chopped kalamata black olives
lemon juice to taste
garlic pepper to tase

DIRECTIONS

Combine ingredients in a bowl and stir until all items are well distributed. Simple!
Promoting

There is always a good way out there to promote everything. What I often have to think about is how I am going to be promoting a website of mine. Whether it is my personal website, my samples website, my weight loss website, or this one, my healthy recipe website. Promoting the sites is a very important thing and you really can not get around doing it. So, what are good ways to promote it and make it accessible to new readers or customers? Getting them in a search engine is a fantastic way to get your website out there but definitely will not be enough to raise very much traffic to it. What I like to do is after I submit them to the search engines, I like looking up a free directory to submit my site. Now, Dirmania is a business directory which is a good place to get your business website out there. Their directory is set up with multiple categories which helps for quick discovery of your website by new people looking for just the thing you are selling or the service you are offering. Another good thing about this website, which is a very good reason to submit your site to it, is that when you submit your website and if it meets all of their requirements, then your website is listed on there in a maximum of 24 hours! Now that is action that you sure can not argue with! So, if you are looking for new ways to promote your business website, go here first!

Ziploc Omelette

Who doesn't love omelette's? I love them! I think they are a fantastic way to start your morning and you really can cram a lot of stuff into an omelette. Want cheese? Put some in there! Want spinach? The more the merrier! Seriously it's so good. So here is a recipe that can help you out with them!

INGREDIENTS

Egg, fresh, 2 medium
*Kraft 2% Shredded Cheddar Cheese, 1/4 cup
*Canadian Bacon, 1 serving chopped
Onions, raw, 1 tbsp chopped
Green Peppers1 tbsp

DIRECTIONS

Crack 2 eggs (large or extra-large) into the bag (not more than 2) shake to combine them.

Put out a variety of ingredients such as: cheeses, ham, onion, green pepper, tomato, hash browns, salsa, etc.

Add prepared ingredients to the bag and shake. Make sure to get the air out of the bag and zip it up.

Place the bags into rolling, boiling water for exactly 13 minutes. You can usually cook 6-8 omelets in a large pot. For more, make another pot of boiling water.

Open the bags and the omelet will roll out easily. Be prepared for everyone to be amazed.

Ultimate Thank You

Saying thank you is a daily thing in my life as well as the lives of the people in my family. Sometimes though, it feels as if a simple verbal thank you just does not cut it and it just does not seem enough to really show how thankful you are to the other person. You wish there was something more. Here is another scenario, someone in your work place does something really generous and you would like to send out a thank you. Another idea is when you do business with somebody and you would like to just thank them for doing business with you.

Thank you Cards are the ultimate way to say thank you. It is something that you can give someone and they will really know that you appreciate them and what they have done. Cards Direct has a wide variety of thank you cards available to you to order. The picture above is one that I really liked from their website. I love the red as it pops and the style which 'thank you' is written in is very neat looking. There are a lot of other styles in their site that I really like but that one was just the one that stood out the most to me. So, next time you want to really say thank you to someone, give them a card.

When you buy these cards in bulk you also get to save money as well as receive them in 2 to 3 days when they are finished being printed!
