Hey guys, stevia and truvia are all-natural sweeteners. That is, a replacement for sugar
They have a sweet taste but very little to no calories. And yes, Splenda has a very small amount of calories, whereas stevia/truvia have 0 calories
Truvia isapparently more likely to cause side effects and be potentially bad for long-term health compared to stevia, which seems alot safer, although research about this isn’t completely reliable. They should be in your supermarket near the sugar. DYOR :)
    Enjoy

Could you please, when talking about ingredients tell us what is something like truvia because some people are not from America? Thank you and sorry for my bad english

Hey, I’m currently following you and making your recipes, I really like them and I really appreciate the fact that you want to help people to make their diet much easier. I’ve got a question. Did you make a word document of some of your recipes? And if you have, could you upload it at your blog or facebook? That would be really nice, then I could print it and take it to the kitchen so I won’t have to walk upstairs to watch the video over and over again XD

I am wondering something: splenda has actually 4 cals per gram as does equal. Does truvia and stevia have absolutely zero cals or is it just the US marketing? In the US the FDA allows companies to say 0 if it’s under 5 cals or carbs per serving. Here in the UK and rest of EU, they have to specify to the 2nd decimal place so you will find things like 2.35 carbs per serving lol. I’ll check out stevia next month as I’m traveling (back) to the US but most likely the label will say zero.

Looks great Is, but whqat exactly is truvia? Is it a substitute for sugar?

    @WildnCrazeh HahHaa THanks MAte !! :)

  12. WildnCrazeh

@sp5286 All natural sweetners, since these are very healthy recipes we can’t use sugar etc. so to compensate for the sweet flavour that sugar gives us, we use a little amount of a sweetner :)

  13. sp5286

I googled it……..so its sweetners…..i hope its healthy…..hopefully will get it today at supermarket :)

  14. sp5286

  20. kevluvzchips

@LawrenceSylvester Stevia is unavailable yeah, but you can get baking cocoa in pretty much any UK supermarket, even small ones.

  21. Anakindis

I’ve used Vanilla Protein Powder instead of chocolate and then added the tbsp of unsweeted cocoa and it tastes great! I don’t have Truvia or stevia ’cause I live in EU but I put some Fructose and it was good. Nice recipe. Please keep going, I’m doing Revabs and witg your recipes it’s so easy to avoid the temptation of getting unhealthy sweets.

  22. vdgjolly

@bboynormal but, for instance here in Austria, you can still buy it. Like in so called “Reformhaus” (kind of shop with organic products) you will find Stevia at hygenia products (powder for bathing and stuff like this).

  23. MrGreenOwl

Your addicted to protein powder :P
Its like as addicting as cafeine, havent eaten powder for half month now

  24. bboynormal

Aargh Stevia is forbidden in Europe !!! :(

  25. 0680496

you should have shown us the final product and even better, cut it in half so well see how it looks from the inside….
