How do I eat healthy if my parents insist that I eat ?
I want to eat healthy. I also exercise everyday and try to eat healthy.
But twice a week, they always want to eat junk food.
Tonight they want to eat Popeyes. No wonder they are soo unhealthy.

Anyway, how can I say I want to eat something else without seeming too prissy or sounding like a tightwad to them?

I just had a subway sandwich for lunch and pizza a few days ago. It’s ridiculous!

Don’t eat it then. Make yourself something healthy.

Show them that eating the way they are is BAD. and that they are going to have a heart attack if they dont stop.

If the fast food restaurant has a salad, order it.

What exactly does the family eat the other 19 meals during the week?
Twice a week eating fast food is perfectly healthy, and if you order off Subway’s 6 grams-of-fat-or-less menu it’s an awesome meal. Stick to two pieces of pizza instead of four and it’s still a good dinner. Even Popeye’s has some healthier options.
Sounds like you are well on your way to an eating disorder. Lighten up and stop being so hyper-critical and obsessive.
Maybe your parents can’t afford organic prissy food. Get a job and buy what you want, or get a healthy attitude toward food and live in the real world.
