How to build muscle fast (Episode 1 of 3)

How to build muscle fast (Episode 1). People often think that to build muscle they have to workout in the gym for hours and hours on end when really all the time they should be spending lifting weights should really only be 45 mins to an hour. If you weight train for hours on end, you are then burning the candle at both ends. You can do a full body weight training workout by using the formula of 1×10 reps using light weights to warm your muscles up then max out straight away with no rest to heavier weights and do 1×10 reps with as much weight as you can handle but still using good form! This episode forms part 1 of a series of videos to help you build muscle in about 6 weeks. Everyone’s bodies are different and some it may take a little longer but the general rule is if you stick to this, put 100% effort into each exercise, each lift and max out on the weights in the 2nd set of each exercise and perform the supersets right at the end of each session, you will get big fast! (just remember to eat right too!!). The next episode in this series will be posted this coming Wednesday (27th January 2010) and will consist of different muscle exercises and a different super set. The third episode in this series will be posted this coming Friday (29th January 2010) and will again consist of different muscle exercises and a different superset, giving your whole body a tough workout every week…. the idea is to follow this video every Monday for 6 weeks, and follow Wednesdays video

@69flamez69 yup yup if you do weight that your muscles can barely handle it tears your muscles up hence the soreness and how they get bigger is when it heals …you repair the muscle so you can handle the weight and with the whole less weight and more reps is the fact of there being resistance while your moving creating heat and burning fat so ive been told :)

i did same as you too..i put on 12kg in 3 months ;)

ive been doing weights since i was 16 off and on now im 20 , im recently gettin back into it and want 2 take on bodybuilding as a sport . i have always led 2 belive that more weight u do with less reps the bigger ur and if u wna get ripped u do less weight for more reps , true?

Its best to start of with really light weights like 10kg, and then for the second set just add an extra 5 kilos when doing bench press… if you are under 16 years of age then heavy lifting could possibly stunt growth.

1 question I have mate, my old football trainer said the bench press thing the same like you, my new one says if your not grown out yet you should do really light weights (10 kilogramm maybe) but do 40 reps, and that twice, what would you recommend, is it maybe better to do that if your not grown out yet? cheers

  16. Liniserproductions

good stuff man, I’ll try it

  17. Kyoslicer

Nice! I’ll definitely try this method. I need to first invest in a weight bench, but once purchased I’ll use this method. Thanks!
