nice vid, i’d recommend raisins too :)
@HomeFitnessTV wow, great point, I work at a grocery store and always told customers lword1970′s take on organic fruit because of the thick skin, but you mentioned something I never thought of? What do you mean as far as watching them as they “ripen/rotten”, are you talking about just taste? very interesting, hope to hear a response. thanks!
@lword1970 Did you ever think about the chemical fertilizers, pesticides, etc.. that are in the dirt – that become part of the fruit “inside the skin”?… Put 2 bunches of bananas on your counter-top (1 organic bunch and 1 ‘regular’ bunch) And just watch how they ripen/rotten over the course a week or 2 – and do a taste test every other day. I think you’ll be surprised at the difference.
organic banana – waste of money . you only need organic when you eat the skin of a fruit – like pears and apples
I just can’t believe how great this video is. This is EVRYTHING I have been looking for in a dessert. Thank you so much for posting this.
what time are you eating this i know you mentioned that the cinnamon keeps your blood sugar level stable but i thought bannas were high glycemic, the walnuts and pecans sound really good though: ) Also walnuts have an abundant source of omega 3, pecans too so i would definately add that but can i eat it late at night in hopes that the fat in the walnuts lowers the glycemic index of the banana ?
ow, I love the healthy way u have going on here but I’d still have to add the soymilk and waffers. Guess Im still spoiled huh?
sounds yum. I got a recipe: 1 banana, cacoa powder (has heaps of antixodites) to taste, organic honey to taste, almond milk and maca. simply blend ingredients in a mixer and you have a yummy healthy smoothy! healthy food is so much nicer then junk food and you feel so much better when you have it!
Thanks Joey for this recipe. It’s so cool. I would have never thought of that! Does stevia have an after taste? I’ve cut out sugar to where I don’t add sugar to anything and I usually am pretty good about eating sweets. I stay away from most sweeteners though cause 1 usually chemicals and 2 taste and especially after taste is really really nasty! Will give this a shot though! THanks again.
Hi KC – we use the Stevia from SteviaStash (dot) com
Its the best. All the natural sweetness without the calories or chemicals.
Best,
Joey
Is Stevia the ingredient that was used for suguar?
add a little melted no sugar added peanut butter over top of the banana after being in the freezer….delish!!!!!
