    WHY IS FAST FOOD BAD??
Should I even have to answer that?

  3. peacewalker7

Fast food is bad because it’s empty, carcinogenic, denatured and mal-combined, it is fatty and coats the blood and lymph and it is artificial containing exototixins and protoplasmic poisons. .. But it’s cheap, “delicious” and available! And that’s what makes it even more dangerous. but fruit is ‘fast food’ too, and that is healthy

thanks, helps me fight my Chocaddiction

I would have preferred to see the the calorie/sugar content of dark chocolate, not the regular that we already know is bad. The caffeine and theobromine seems like something I’d like to get a kick of when feeling like crap and run down! Esp. if it’s outlawed because it can increase performance of race horses; sounds like it’s something proven to work(?). Everything in moderation! Good vid btw. Thanks.

FAST FOOD = high sugar, high saturated fat, high salt, unhealthy additives and preservatives and finally…. over-sized servings.

Love your video ever heard from the power of chocolate?
See this video about the power at thepowerofchocolate(dot)nl and thepowerofchocolate(dot)org because not all chocolate is treated equal.
Xocai is a low carb low sugar low fat chocolate see the whole story at one of those media sites.

    Thanks Peter Langelaar

because its full of fat, full of calories, full of sugar and it has been processed thus there are no nutrients left

  9. Ju129N

@Sleems12 Are you confusing fat with lack of exercise?

  12. Sleems12

it has fat in it that clogs up your arteries and…makes you.fat.

Basically they are bad because they are processed – they are the refined versions of what used to be real food, when found in their original and raw state. They are high calorie foods with low or even non-existant nutritional value. Furthermore are they not only low in the good stuff, they are also loaded with the bad like high-fructose sugar, transfats and all sorts of preservatives to make them stay fresh (if you can even call them that) longer.

why is fast food bad? it depends on what it is as to how “bad” it is but it’s usually meat which is produced in inhumane ways and isnt earth friendly either because of the amount of resources it takes to produce it as opposed to plant sources of food. the animals may also be given antibiotics. it is also usually high in fat and maybe preservatives. it is probably genetically modified when it is of vegetable origin. It may be high in sugar. it isnt usually whole a grain product.

As SEOcooking pointed out, the fair trade issues are missing here, albeit Natalie’s focus is nutrition. It’s just my view the issues of child slavery in Africa, the general open air sweat shops in the fields of the global south, the history of the development of slavery & imperialism inextricably intertwines with cacao, sugar & the health & nutrition of others, in other 3rd world nations whose chest our (1st world/US) jackboot stands upon. Folks, there R so many reasons not 2 eat fast food…..

We don’t have Hershey’s in the UK. I tried it for the first time last year and, to my surprise, it was horrible. It tasted stale! Although my American colleagues were amazed that us Brits thought it was horrible.
