    i have a question, please answer =/

i have recently started working out, and i bought a protein. but dont know exactly how to use it.

you see, i dont know if i should drink a glass of protein BEFORE working out, or AFTER i workout, and if i do before, is 30 minutes of workout enough for me to burn that protein and not get fat? =s

Soy products have also been found to be contaminated by hexane, an explosive toxin.

@armydaddy08 wtf ass brained world are you measuring in?
I’m a chef, I measure things exact. For starters he has 3-4 table spoons of peanut butter. Have you ever SEEN an actual table spoon used for cooking?
He adds 2 scoops of whey, not 1. 1 scoop is a serving and 100+ calories. Hell it’s pronounced WAY and he calls it we yet you say he’s not dumb?
That’s also well over 1 cup of milk. Easily 2 or 2.5 + banana. That’s a 700 calorie drink easy!
That shake = a very large high sugar/fat meal!

@JonDeth 2 tablespoons is the serving size of PB there’s nothing wrong with that. Anyways, he just misspoke when he said a teaspoon. He also used a single serving size of milk nothing wrong there either.

  9. JonDeth

Dude that’s a looooot of sugar and get a proper measuring spoon, you just added about 2 table spoons of peanut butter, not a teaspoon.

and like any of the protein supplements, used correctly it can significantly increase your muscle mass and soy may increase your muscle recovery speed.

  23. TechnoDjSplit

Soy protein isolate is one of the best and highly recommanded protein shakes, cause it dosnt contain most of the bad stuff that others have, and cause of that Soy protein isolate gives u more proteins and repare ur muscles faster after training

  24. WasGibtsLeute

So? Have never heard that. But it is also said that you’d better mix soy with whey to increase the biological value of the proteins.

Potatoes and milk for instance and soy and whey or beans and corn.

  25. MIS315

the reason soy has such a negative connotation (especially among bodybuilders) is because it boosts your levels of estrogen, unlike whey. Obviously this can have a negative impact on your results since estrogen counters production of testosterone (which is what you really want to gain muscle mass) and spikes fat levels.
