Would anyone like to share their healthy recipe with me?
My husband, my son and I are all going to start eating healthier, and I was looking on the Internet for some good healthy recipes. The problem is I don’t have much in our food budget so I want to make sure the things we do buy are not only healthy but taste good too. I don’t want to spend a lot of money on a dish only to find out we just all hate it you know? So anyone willing to share a healthy recipe with me that you’ve tried, and you know your family likes?

Use high fiber white bread (yes they do make it-brand is Healthy Life and 35 calories each slice!)
add 1 teaspoon margerine to each
Top with small pieces of garlic. I use about 1/2 of a clove for each piece but you can change this according to taste. My mom likes a whole clove per piece.
Add a pinch of garlic powder or garlic salt on top.
Putt tomato slices on top.
Add low calorie motzerella cheese on top.
Put in oven until cheese is melted and crust is brown
Taste excellent and it’s about 70-90 calories a slice!
Excellent as a side to any pasta dishes. (always buy wheat pasta!)

Tofu Scramble
one block medium tofu
1/2 clove garlic (may use 1/4 or even one section depending on taste.
a bunch of chopped vegetable that you like. (stir fry vegetables work well)
extra virgin olive oil.
place the tofu ever cut into blocks or smashed into paste in a frying pan with a little bit of olive oil. add 1/2 clove of garlic crushed and saute until golden. then add the rest of the veggies and cook to your liking. feel free to add pepper if you like as well as anything else you like. pine nuts go great with it. This is great for breakfast lunch or dinner and is relatively fast and easy, relatively cheap and tastes great. the tofu pics up flavors from the rest of the dish and give a very nice taste. you can also experiment with it and add different thins to it depending on what you like and don’t like it is very flexible and will still taste good. I’ve substituted tofu for shrimp as well and it was great. have fun and enjoy
